Please help.

This is Mikey, my 4 month old foster APBT. He has megaesophagus. This is him, eating in his thrown together Bailey’s chair I made out of cardboard. I’m going to make or get him a better one, a toddler’s high chair if it will work.
But I need help, strictly from people with personal experience, I’ve scoured the internet, I don’t need help with that. Unless you find a REALLY REALLY good reputable site that I overlooked.

I need to know if anyone recommends any particular brand of food, soft food or solid, vitamins? How to keep him in his chair longer or more comfortably (as soon as he is done eating, he tries to fight his way out of the chair. He refuses to sit down in it, so he stays standing and tries to crawl out), if there is anything I can do, any medications that will help. Shit, I will BOTTLE FEED him if I have to.
I’ve only had him three days, I was NOT warned of his condition before agreeing to foster him and fighting to get him transported from the shelter in Oregon, up to me in Seattle. I was completely unprepared for how difficult this would be, on him and me.

I’m watching this baby starve. And it’s breaking me. I need to get him into a better chair, a better routine, but I need help taking the right steps.

But I already have had multiple people tell me (people who don’t know about the condition) they are convinced he is going to die. Well. Not on my watch. 

Please help my little Gremlin fight this. I have a lot going on in life, and this last thing is breaking me. HE DOESN’T DESERVE THIS.
